AUTUMN EXTREME!

It has been a great 1st season and sorry we have not been posting as much as we’d have liked over the season but hopefully now over the winter months we’re be more regular! Firstly a massive Thank You to ALL of our staying guests, you were all such great guests and each week our ‘Best’ guests came to stay! 😉 Our last month of business had very unpredictable weather in the mountains and we had all four seasons, sometimes in the same day – with Rain, Wind, Sun, Rainbows and early Snow – as you can see in the posted photos! A massive respect goes out to our guests in the month of October, who were real troopers and just got on with all the included and premium activities, whatever the skies threw down at us! Thanks again to all our guests for making this season a success and we hope to see you again in the future!

NORTHERN CHALLENGES!

Hello to everyone and it really has been too long since our last post, however with our busy main summer months now over, we shall try to add new posts whenever possible! ) With a huge welcome, the month of September has bought nice sunshine back to Durmitor; after the rainiest month of August on record. The month of September has two regional fitness challenges based in the mountains of Montenegro ‘The Northern Challenge Race’ held in Mojkovac and ‘The Skyrunning’ challenge held in Durmitor. The endurance races are excellently organised and include running, kayaking, mountain biking, etc; all great for keeping fit and active! The scenery is also amazing on the races and include canyon’s, mountains, rivers and lakes, with the races based on heights of over 2000 meter’s above sea level. If anyone still fancies a challenge of their own? they can also book a tour with us fast, while we’re still open till the 1st November and enjoy Zip Lining, Trekking, Rafting and Mountain Biking – so we look forward to welcoming you at our camp!

MOUNTAIN BIKE SCENERY!

There is mountain biking and there is mountain biking, but the scenery for our biking activity would be hard to beat anywhere in the world! We completed this Sedlo bike route 2 days ago with staying guests and wished to share some of the amazing views guests would see on this route. The route starts from our camp and heads slowly up towards the mountain point of Sedlo. The route takes an approx 22 km and there are plenty of stops and natural springs along the way for rest stops! Mountain biking is a great activity for people wishing to get fit and active and having a great feeling when reaching their goal! The way down is lots of fun and for adrenaline seekers wishing to head back down to camp at speeds!
