Trekking and Mountaineering are two sports which share similar features, however as a general rule trekking is a pursuit that can be followed without the need for any specialist or technical equipment; whilst mountaineering will require the use of technical equipment such as rope, harness, crampons and possibly ice axes. Mountaineering is a more physical challenging sport and a degree of knowledge and training should be attained before attempting any difficult mountaineering tours. This knowledge might include navigation, rope techniques, crampon and ice axe use, basic first aid and understanding mountain weather. Mountaineering offers boundless opportunities for challenges, enjoyment and excitement!
We can arrange a one-day or several-day Mountaineering tours, spending the night in nature with overnight stays arranged in tents or summer mountain huts. Depending on the duration of tour? it is possible to visit the entire area and mountain ranges. One of the great sides of our Mountaineering activity is that it is more challenging and diverse than Trekking and in return it will give our guests an enjoyment in each step they take. It can seriously improve personal confidence, character, team-working skills and also gives a great feeling of personal achievement!
As a rule Mountaineering requires technical knowledge, appropriate walking boots, appropriate equipment and a good level of physical condition. The possibilities of choosing destinations are extensive and they depend on your mood and the current weather options. However whichever mountaineering option guests choose, the most important aspect will be their interaction with nature and enjoying the fresh mountain air!
