We recently hosted new staying guests, a lovely active family from the coast of Montenegro. The guests particularly loved our mountain biking activity, arranged for an easier family route, along our local village road which heads up towards the Piva region. We stopped along the way for refreshments and coffee in an eatery and even ended up buying some amazing organic cheese from the locals. This will definitely be a biking route added to our mountain selection for guests with smaller children. Our guests also enjoyed our 3 lake trekking activity and our children joined in on the trek, along with, so far, our youngest guest adventurer Theo! All the children particularly liked the natural springs on route and they were in charge of our water refills in the pleasant sunshine! Hope you enjoy the pics!

The last few days in Zabljak have managed to bring some great warm sunshine and from our winter jackets we were finally able to enjoy taking them off and putting on our T-shirts and enjoying a great outdoor Spring BBQ! We have our fingers crossed and hope the Spring weather will now last into what is planned to be the hottest summer on record in Durmitor! Our children Dimi and Lara were quick to get in on the action and we all went out on a great biking day to the mountain of Savin Kuk. If you like the great outdoors, amazing scenery and enjoy being active then mountain biking is the way to go and we look forward to welcoming you all soon!

We have now opened our doors and started our 2016 adventure season. Unfortunately the weather was not so kind to us in Zabljak and for our first guests they had a very mixed bag of weather, which included rain, wind and even a few more days of snow! However our first sets of guests seemed to really like their stays and embrace the extremes of Durmitor mountain. Our second guests Victoria and Dima explored the area on our mountain bikes and we have included some great photos from their stay. Both sets of guests came for a longer stay to Montenegro and they both went onto coastal towns to enjoy the warm May sunshine. Victoria and Dima particularly liked their stay and even said “it was one of their best holidays ever” and we can only hope all our future guests will be so adventurous, happy and Bravehearted! )
